Description
This sweet sterling pendant is an antique reproduction of a swallow bird and flowers. Some species of swallows have been known to mate for life and are strictly monogamous. The behavior of these unique birds has inspired many legends throughout history. In Greek mythology, swallows were believed to bring happiness and good fortune to those who saw them and were associated with the goddess Aphrodite. The gemstones are faceted, 3mm watermelon tourmaline. The colors range from pink, wine, light green, forest green and clear. This finishes with a 6mm lobster clasp and has a 2″ extension chain so that the length is adjustable. All silver is sterling.
