“I attend the Litchfield Farmer’s Market on a year-round basis. Several years ago, during a winter market a guest vendor was in attendance — Alison Designs Jewelry. I had never seen this vendor before, but I absolutely fell in love with the pieces this talented woman designed. Sitting before me on her table were semi-precious gems, crystals, and sterling. Standing to the side of the table was one of the most talented and creative women I had ever met.
“That day after carefully examining many pieces I settled on purchasing a sterling mermaid necklace with small pieces of turquoise and some unique sterling silver earrings with turquoise and lapis in a nested hoop design. These two pieces changed my perspective on jewelry and brought not only beauty into my life, but an amazing person and friend as well.
“Over the years I have purchased many pieces from Alison — I can’t NOT buy something from this woman when I see how she strives to create unique and vibrant items that scream “one of a kind.” At this point, the vast majority of jewelry I own is crafted by Alison.
“You will never be disappointed in a piece that you purchase from Alison — she stands behind her work and guarantees it — whether you have an intricate piece with many stones or crystals or a simple You and Me necklace.
